Think of this as more of a Collector's Edition upgrade. Marathon is Bungie's newest competitive PvPvE extraction shooter. In it, you'll complete objectives and take out enemies in six teams of three. Matches are given time limits based on the map size, with the Dire Marsh level giving players 25 minutes to gather loot and extract alive. You can play Marathon solo, but you'll still queue against full teams of three if you're after even more of a challenge. You'll play as Runners, each with their own bespoke loadouts, abilities, roles, and ultimates. There will be four Runners to choose from at launch, with more coming in future updates. The voice cast for Marathon boasts an impressive roster of video game veterans, including Jennifer English, Neil Newbon, Ben Starr, Fred Tatasciore, Emily O'Brien, Dave Fennoy, and Rich Keeble, among others. If you're planning on playing Marathon on PlayStation, you can also preorder the Limited Edition DualSense controller from PlayStation Direct. It has a unique color scheme and fits right in with the game's and collector's edition's aesthetic -- all white with neon green accents and industrial designs. The controller comes out with the game on March 5, and is available to preorder for $84.
