GS All Ships In Windrose And How To Get Them - Massamo - 04-23-2026 GS All Ships In Windrose And How To Get Them Windrose starts you off with a rinky-dink raft that you can use to get from point A to point B during the opening hours of your pirate adventure. However, as you progress and start learning the ways of the sea, you'll be able to build much larger, stronger, and faster ships. While you don't have to stick with your raft for very long, there are also some immediate upgrades you can make to your starter pirate ship in Windrose. Eventually, you can unlock massive ships that take up your entire screen, but that requires a lot of time, effort, and resources. Below, we'll walk you through every single type of ship in Windrose and how to build them in your shipyard. All types of ships in WindroseIn total, there are three classifications of ships in Windrose, and each classification has three total variants you can build. The ship classifications are: Ketch, Frigate, and Brigantine, and the variants in each classification are: Stock, Brethren, and Blackbeard. As you might expect, there are huge differences between the classifications and the variants, allowing you to get some real customization out of the available ships in your shipyard. To start, Ketches are standard, C-tier ships that provide a moderate amount of speed, health, and storage, and it's the type of ship you first build in Windrose. ![]() Typically, the Brethren model of ship is sturdier, with more health and storage, but it lacks overall speed. On the other hand, the Blackbeard model of ship is quick and agile, making it great for raiding, but it has less health. Once you move on from Ketches, though, you'll get into the mid-game and late-game with the Brigantine and Frigate ships. Brigantine ships are the fastest vessels on the sea, but they are bigger and stronger than Ketches as well. The Brigantine is usually what you'll use during the mid-game of Windrose, as it's classified as a B-tier ship. As for the late-game, you'll use a Frigate, which are gargantuan ships that have the most health and storage possible. These lack in speed, but it'll be extremely difficult for any other ship to sink you in Windrose. Frigates possess the highest possible rating, A-tier, so you can't get any better than them in the current version of Windrose. How to get all ships in WindroseIf we don't include the starter raft, there are nine total ships you can build in Windrose. The first three, which are all Ketches, are unlocked as soon as you complete the quest to build your first ship. You can then build a Wharf at your base, access the Shipyard, and then build the other two variants, Brethren and Blackbeard, from there. However, building any kind of ship requires a ton of resources. Also, getting access to the Brigantine and Frigate ships will require you to unlock them through the story in Windrose. Below, you can see the resource requirements and unlock methods for all nine ships in Windrose: KetchesStock Ketch
