GS This Custom World Of Warcraft Controller Is Made Entirely Of Hot Dogs

A quick run in World of Warcraft typically requires you to do a few finger gymnastics with a traditional mouse and keyboard setup, but it turns out there is another way to play the game. A meatier way, a method that involves slapping wieners and hoping for the best. We promise we're not making a double entendre joke right now.

Streamer Addison2K had originally experimented with the idea of a hot dog controller during one of their annual Tentathon 24-hour livestreams. The original setup used a controller for movement and a single sausage that could register flicks as inputs.

To build on the idea of a meatboard, Addison 2K 3D-printed two rigs that could hold four sausages each--one sausage holder for movement, the other for abilities--mapped them to keys, and started flicking away. Aside from needing a keyboard to use the Tab function, the hot dog controllers did their job, and Addision2K completed a Mythic dungeon run in World of Warcraft.

If you also want to do a hot dog run, Addision2K has uploaded the files to Makerworld, so you can print your own controller to slip a few sausages into. There is honestly no way to write this story without it sounding dirty.

In less-meaty World of Warcraft news, Blizzard is dialing up the difficulty in Mythic+ dungeons and making the experience more rewarding for players. This news comes in the wake of a chaotic world first race for completing Mythic March on Quel'Danas. Many clans took part, but in the end, Team Liquid emerged victorious after a grueling battle against L'ura that took them hundreds of attempts to successfully pull off.

Players can also try out a new Transmog option soon, and an unexpected collab with a popular cookware brand and a citrus soda has opened up new cosmetic options in the MMORPG.
